Having personally overseen more than 2,000 investigations, advised on more than 10,000 ethics reports, and coordinated compliance services across 75 countries, Ms. Gust – co-founder and president of Ethics Suite – is a proven architect of ethics and compliance services globally. Whether designing or managing whistleblower programs, internal investigations, anti-corruption risk assessments, or audit programs, Ms. Gust brings the deep experience, industry knowledge, and international pedigree necessary to spearhead complex global matters.

Ms. Gust’s experience and skills are sought after by executive boards as well as government authorities for support in forensic analysis in financial issues.

As a former Director of Internal Audit at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Ms. Gust led the development of a best-in-class global fraud and investigations program, leading a team of more than 180,000 employees in 100+ countries. She similarly served as a core member and Project Manager of the company’s Anti-Corruption Compliance Program, spearheading detailed anti-corruption risk assessments, third-party due diligences, and audits. Ms. Gust’s expertise was frequently called upon by executive boards, federal and state regulatory agencies, and audit committees during her time with PwC, where she served as a subject matter expert on Regulatory and Forensics practices. There, she led investigations and engagements on various anti-money laundering, sanctions compliance, corruption and bribery, embezzlement, and financial statement fraud matters in the U.S. and abroad. Ms. Gust is also bi-lingual, with fluency in Spanish.

Ms. Gust’s 20+ years of experience culminated in the founding of Ethics Suite – a provider of a modern, comprehensive digital “hotline” for confidential internal reporting and case management. Polaris and Ethics Suite are engaged in a strategic partnership, with Polaris’ global investigative bench complementing Ethics Suite’s fluent understanding of complex compliance and governance concerns. The two firms collaborate on FCPA investigations, forensic accounting, anti-corruption / anti-bribery matters, and a selection of other essential services.
