Consulting APAC Director of Brand Protection & Investigations

Azim Uribe was a Senior Consultant at Control Risks’ Compliance, Forensics, and Intelligence team in Shanghai. He managed financial and commercial investigations commonly surrounding allegations of fraud, corruption, or misconduct. His experience includes conducting risk assessments with a focus on financial and operational issues and non-compliance. Azim helped Control Risks develop anti-bribery and corruption compliance programs and frameworks, in addition to working on cases involving forensics on digital devices and conducting on-site interviews and reviews of eData as part of investigations.

Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Mr. Uribe specializes in domestic and international intellectual property and intelligence services.

Mr. Uribe specializes in intellectual property investigations and IPR enforcement consulting. While working for Pinkerton Consulting Services, he was involved in wholesale market intelligence gathering, control purchase and document notarization, criminal and administrative raid action enforcement action, e-commerce investigations, and trade show intelligence collection in China and the United States.

Azim graduated from Queens College with a graduate degree in Sociology. He additionally holds an MBA in doing business in China from Shanghai Jiaotong University. He speaks native English and Spanish and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
