Rodolfo Rivera

Senior Advisor | Global Investigations

Rodolfo Rivera is Chief International Counsel for a Fortune 500 insurance organization, where he oversees high-exposure litigation across Europe, Latin America, and the United States, and formerly lead complex cross-border legal strategy. Mr. Rivera directed the company’s strategic growth initiatives throughout Latin America and Europe; he manages operational risk, regulatory compliance, and multinational legal infrastructure.

He oversees an international litigation portfolio with a combined exposure exceeding $250 billion, and has managed corporate operations in Mexico and Puerto Rico. He established and leads a coordinated network of attorneys across 34 countries, where he ensures consistent legal standards, risk mitigation, and operational continuity worldwide.

He frequently speaks on cross-cultural strategy, workplace conflict resolution, intrapreneurship, and executive communication. His insights bridge legal precision with practical business acumen, equipping organizations to operate effectively across jurisdictions and cultures.

At Polaris, Mr. Rivera serves as a Senior Advisor on Global Investigations, where he applies strategic guidance on international legal risk and complex investigations with a global scope.

Mr. Rivera holds a Juris Doctor from St. Louis University School of Law, a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Political Science from Ohio Northern University, and a Certificate in International Law from The Hague Academy of International Law. He is a member of the Missouri Bar and serves as Licensed Florida Corporate Counsel.

His professional leadership includes service on the Global Board of Directors of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), the world’s largest organization for in-house counsel, and former presidencies of both the International Legal Affairs Committee and the Real Estate Committee of the ACC. He is also an approved arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association and National Arbitration and Mediation and was named to the GC Powerlist: US 2017 – Latin America Specialists.

Mr. Rivera currently serves on the Board of Communities In Schools, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing student dropout. He also maintains active involvement in the Hispanic Bar Association and the LATAM Speakers Association. His podcast, Conversations with Rudy Rivera, is available on YouTube and Spotify, where he engages global leaders in discussions on law, leadership, and business strategy.
